cloth or disposable? my child is two and i still don't feel like i have a clear answer on this, despite extensive research. and why does her FAV-OR-ITE book have to be, "Everybody Poops?"
can someone please launch a website where i can enter the year, make, model, and mileage of my car against a specific new(er) car, and it can tell me when the cost of making the switch is justified by the increasing cost of maintaining the aging, less earth friendly car? ecobluebook.com, anyone? (carrie, i'm talking to you.)
when i buy used books on amazon.com i feel ecologically superior - but after taking into consideration the energy used to deliver the book to my literal doorstep, would i have been better off going to border's?
why do i google "miniature pinscher life span" once a month even though i know that the first result is always going to be, "miniature pinschers are long-lived dogs. the average lifespan is 14-17 years..." GAH.
when i boil water, which is the bigger energy saver: using hot water from the tap (less energy used on the stove) or cold water from the tap (less energy used from my hot water tank)? and if the answer is that hot water is the better move, how many minerals are being leached from the pipes of my 1970s era house by the hot water as it travels to my sink? is it dangerous to cook with hot water from the tap?
that is all.
