well, Kitten had her first bottle tonight. *tear* but it's a good thing. now i know that if i have to be away from her it will be okay. not great, but okay. and she downed that bottle in what has to be record time. J gave it to her (i don't want her to learn to take a bottle from me), and at first she was like, "no! no! that's not what i want! angry baby noises! red face! red face!" but then when she realized she could drink from it - oh, man. gulpgulpgulp and she passed right out.
i'll say it for the first of 100,000 times over the next eighteen years: she's growing up so fast.

oh wow! i'm proud of you for giving her one. i know it must have been hard. how many oz did she take? what type of bottle did you use?
just wait until she turns 10, like pepper did today. and when you get 25 text messages from her a day, like i get from pepper. :)
I remember the first time I gave my kids a bottle too...it is hard! Enjoy every minute. And, even though she is growing up fast, (and they do!) every day brings something better than the day before! Congrats again! You have alot of great times ahead of you!
