who can identify this cookie?*

*decorated by jake this saturday when autumn and i were waist-high in gingerbread. 

next time when i think to myself, "wow, five cups of flour seems like a lot," i'm going to GO WITH THAT INSTINCT and cut the recipe in half.

here is a gingerbread "glinda" angel that jake made for autumn, who is the biggest wizard-of-oz-ophile since my mom was a little girl:

what is gingerbread? you fools. milk is better.

this wash cloth tastes better than anything you could mix up with butter, sugar, and spice.

it's got DREFT.

the whole family participated.
